Nordenham Metall GmbH is one of the most important European metal recycling companies focused on lead. We process more than 200,000 tonnes of input materials annually, which are mainly secondary materials in the automotive industry, in zinc extraction or in other areas of lead and zinc processing. Our products are more than 100,000 tonnes of lead, various lead alloys, sulphuric acid, raw silver and other by-products containing valuable metals every year. We are committed to modern technology, health protection and occupational safety. Ensuring we use environmentally friendly and energy-efficient production processes is a top priority for us. We are currently transforming ourselves to become a sustainable polymetallic smelter in order to be even more flexible.

We all share the same goal: recycle lead efficiently and produce lead responsibly. We give old lead products a new lease of life and also extract primary lead from valuable ores. In doing so, we ensure the supply of a raw material that advances daily life under the most modern conditions. For example, in the form of car batteries.
